[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 308 suppressor

Can I use my 308 suppressor on my new 6.5 Grendel rifle? I know the threads will have to match for the adaptor, but will the suppressor work with the 6.5 round and will it quieten it any? Thanks for any help.

Thanks! Have you done this or saw someone else? Was the sound louder than a suppressed 556?

Using .308 cans on smaller calibers is an accepted practice, and reportedly very quiet. I have not done it myself.
