I have a 9mm AR-15 with a 9.5" Tros barrel that I usually feed my reloads which are 115 FMJ behind 4.8 AA#2 powder. I've been shooting this load for years in all my 9mms and it's always been a very clean burning load. I shot my 9mm AR with a YHM Wraith for the first time today and I was very pleased with the sound reduction but when I got home and cleaned my rifle, I could not believe how much crud there was. I know the 9 is a blow back but I have fired 300 of these same rounds through this rifle without the can and there was 1/10 the amount of dirt and unburnt powder to clean out I really have two questions. Is this normal to have so much accumulated crud when using a can and is there a better load that runs cleaner. Thanks in advance, Glock9 |
