First off yea!!! Kansas is finally a suppressor state. I am looking at getting an Ops Inc 16th model can, but can't seem to find any info on how the collar attaches to the bbl. Is it a press on fit or what? I have a Bushmaster 24" V-Match upper. The bbl. diameter is .700" for the first 3/4's of an inch past the threads, then the bbl necks up to .720" all the way down to the gas block. Will the collar for the 16th model work on this bbl. without machining? If not, any other suggestions for a durable can that has excellent noise reduction. Thanks.

I am not sure on the 16th, but I believe they all work the same way.  My 12th's collar sits on a shelf that is machined into the barrel.  The collar itself is held on by a set screw.

Thanks Messiah, I see what you mean. Looks like I may need something different. I'm kind of on a budget right now. I may end up just getting an Outback 2  for my Walther P-22. Probably a good place to start for my first suppressor. I can see this hobby getting expensive.

Your barrel will need to have a step contoured in it to hold the collar in place. If you buy the 16th model from me, I'll modify your barrel to accept the collar for free.

Thanks bigbore, I was in fact going to purchase from you. That's great news about the bbl. profiling, when I decide to get a 16th model I'll be touch with you. I may end up sending you more than one bbl. to have work done. I understand you would want paid for work done on multiple bbls. Thanks again.
