I saved up enough money to get a 2 suppressor. I am eyeing either the Spectre or Tac-65. Both can be taken apart, but the Tac-65 is a third of the price of the Spectre and weighs quite a bit less. I have a Buckmark with a short TacSol barrel on it and I wanted to know if anyone who has a Spectre has found it a little too heavy for a pistol. I know the weights of each, but since they will be cantilevered out from my hand its not a simple comparison. Also, is the Spectre really worth 3 times more than the Tac-65. Just looking for opinions from people who have shot or used both. The other guns these will go on is a 10/22 and a CZ-452.
Thanks

I wouldn't be happy with a TAC 65.  It's a 1.09" diameter suppressor, and is outperformed by a lot of 1" diameter suppressors.

You can't really compare a high-performance unit like the Spectre is supposed to be, to the Tac-65.

Spectre is heavier, but really is'nt a big deal. I use it on a MKIII/Pac-lite upper that is really light. Spectre does make it a little front heavy, but not too bad IMO.

One thing I noticed about the Spectre, is the length of the threads. Most .22 cans, the threads are around .4" in length. Spectre's are longer, around .6". Probably for AR/Ceiner use? Not sure on that.

Spectre is full auto rated, multi caliber, stainless can. Not really a fair comparison. I bought it for use with the other calibers.

the spectre is made from 17-4 stainless. It's a different animal than the tac65

Yes, the threads are longer for Ceiner use on the ar15 / m16.

Since the threads are longer does the Spectre not screw on the barrels of other guns all the way? I guess .2 inches between .4 and .6 is not a huge difference, but it is 50% of the total .4 it could attach to.

No .2" of threads will still hang over, and will get gunked up from shooting. They  will need to be cleaned before screwing it on the longer AR barrel threads. Not a big deal, I find I usually have to clean the threads on all .22 cans often anyway. .22's are pretty dirty.
