| Sorry for the newb question, but does anyone know if anyone has ever bought the unthreaded extended bbl by Advantage Arms (.22 conversion kit for Glock), and then had it threaded? If I legally bought a 'can', should I have the suppressor manufacturer do the work? |
| You don't need the extened barrel to get the AA kit threaded. The barrel on the AA kit is too thin to thread 1/2x28" which is the most common thread pitch for .22's. There are a few places that will do the work like Gemtech, Tornado-Technologies, Aguila Firearms. They will thread the stock barrel and add a threaded adapter that is threaded 1/2x28". |

Yes. Some suppressor manufacturers don't do the work, but are affiliated with shops that they stand behind 100%. Gemtech can do the threading and has the adapter. It will be approx. $130....... Is AA selling extended barrels now? They stopped selling threaded barrels quite a while ago. |
