I do not currently own or have ever owned a suppressor, but I am planning on solving that problem as soon as I get back in the states.  I am just wondering what the experianced guys here would recommend for my first suppressor.  I keep bouncing around from just getting a suppressed 22 (Ruger or Walther) handgun, suppressing my AR, or getting one for a 308 bolt action.  I mean what have you guys found to be more fun and feel like you really got your money's worth.  I know I could probably find this stuff already on here and I apologize, but I am in an area where we have no internet access.  Just doing some refit here at another place before heading back out to start up missions until the end of April then it's time to head back to the good ole US!  I should be here til Sunday so any information will be helpful.  Also is it bad juju to switch the same suppressor between a .223 AR and .22lr?  Is there a big difference in a lug mount and thread mounted suppressor?
Thanks,

Get two a QD 308 silencer AAC or YHM units will also fit onto thier .223 mount so you now have two calibers/rifles covered.  And a screw on .22lr silencer which covers handguns and rifles in that caliber.

That is enough fun for you for a long time.
