Yep, Ops 3rd is a good choice.  The AAC 300-SD is also rated for magnum use.  I can't think of anything else off the top of my head that is mag rated.

The OPS 3rd and 12th Models will handle magnum cartridges. Also, if someone is willing to wait OPS can make the 12th .338 with a .28 or .30 bore.

Mark-Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the AAC Cyclone and SWR Omega30's were also rated for up to .300WM? I'm not familiar with a 7mm Winchester Mag except for the 7WSM, but both the 7mm Rem Mag and 7WSM create less pressure than the .300WM and I would think would be suitable.

I think the YHM 7.62 Phantom is magnum rated too. I can't tell you how it compares to the others, just that it might be an option.

Honestly, I am not sure.  I went to SWR's site and the info I have from them and it doesn't say.  I've spoken to Freddy in the past about magnum use on the Cyclone and 762-SD and he left it with me saying the cans probably would hold up just fine but they had not tested it or tried it themselves.  But they also came out with the 300-SD specifically for use with magnum rated calibers.  I'm also scratching my head on the SureFire cans.  Their .30 cal stuff is also very strong.

The SWR Omega-30 is rated for 300 WM.  I have one and checked this out before I bought it.

Thanks for all the help.  I will pass this on to my buddy.  He has some cash from deployment that is burning a hole in his pocket.

Y'all are great.

Yes, the Omega .30 is rated up to 300 win mag, here's a link to the manual that states it, look under the specifications category:

Thanks for pointing out a source for the info. I know the Cyclone can handle a 7WSM as I personally know someone who's been given the go-ahead with it. I could have sworn that I've heard before about it being able to withstand up to .300WM w/o issues.
