I was contacted by a friend who was having problems with wild hogs running in his yard.  He lives in a semi-residential area and wanted to obtain a suppressor for dealing with them.  I first had to convince him a 223 or a 22 rimfire was not good hog vodoo.  He has a Ruger 44 mag bolt action...and can load slow and heavy for it.  All shots would be under 100 yards.

Is there a suppresor manufacturer out there that makes a production unit that will work.  He can have the barrel cut back and threaded...not a problem. The cut back still has to be longer that 16" though...he doesn't want a SBR.
