ok i have 2 ar's one in 308 and the other in 5.56. i'm looking to buy a can that will fit both and suppresses the best and would like it qd mounted. what would you go with.

My recommendation would be to buy two and keep them caliber specific. That being said for the 5.56 you could get a HALO that you could move from weapon to weapon.

I have a AAC 762 SD on a 18" Noveske Barreled AR10 and I do not need hearing protection when shooting it. I also have M4-96D on 6920 same no hearing protection needed. If you go with the 762SD you can get a mount that will fit a 223 can and use it on 308 so when you buy your 2nd can(and you will)

you will not need another mount.
