I've done a little reading and it seems like although the SAS cans are very reasonably priced there seems to be a recurring issue with the threads not being the correct size. Several people have commented that they needed to have it fixed to make it fit the barrel.

Any one with info on this?

I think this was discussed back in Jan.....I guess I should stay on this forum more often then wasting my time in GD

The thread issue has been corrected. There was a thread at SH and Tim talked about it there. I suggest you email him and ask all of the questins you want. Tim is a good guy and stands behind his products. I got a .30 cal at the begining of the year and I don't have any issues with mine. Buy with confidence...

Tim is great to deal with and if something does happen to be wrong he will make it right...period.  The most impressive thing was watching him test my can on his Rem 700 and hit the 400 yard gong on his first shot.  My POI shift with the can is less than 1/2" low and right at 100 yards.

I've been VERY happy with my can.  He even finished it in FDE for me.  Saved me some time and grief from my wife about smelling up the oven.
