I am trying to get a can and like the sleeve type adaptors where the can will actually overlap the barrel a little....Anyone hvae any feelings of one over the brand?

OPSinc is available to the civilian market right?

OPS Inc suppressors are a good choice.

AAC SCAR-H and M4/SPR supressors are a good choice too.

I don't understand SureFire's high price.  I don't see the premium price reflected in performance, materials, or construction myself.  Maybe I'm missing something or, maybe it it's just related to cross over sales from their flashlights.

How much are Surefires? Does that include the A2 adaptor because the Opsincs mounts arent cheap.

Excellent question, one I am interested in as well. If I am not mistaken AAC's Scar suppressors reflex over the barrel also. One more that I have seen is the suppressor on the Armalite SASS, though I do not know who makes it.

Very interested in this topic.

Anybody can buy OPS INC suppressors. Given a choice(no surprise) I like OPS.  The Surefire(B&T) mount is my favorite mount though.  If you want to debate Surefire or OPS, find someone to X-Ray them next to each other - you'll have a hard time telling the difference.

The mounts for the Surefire's M4FA are cheaper than a Vortex. The can itself is (at LE pricing) very competitive.

Our SCAR-H-SD reflexes back over the barrel, as does the SPR/M4.  The Armalite SASS entry had our can on it.

what do you mean reflexes over? I am assuming that the Armalite SASS barrel is turned down at the muzzle to fit into the brake\adaptor for the suppresor?

A brake and collar comes with the Ops Inc cans, by the way.

Thanks for the information. How much barrel is needed, ie. how far back do the suppressors go on the barrel?

I guess that question would work for all manufacturers, is there a place that has all of this information?
