Well I am thinking of getting another suppressor...Its like a bad habit, one just isnt enough. I am lookin at a OASIS-R from Gemtech because I would also like to get a nice 10/22. Anyone have expierence with this yet?

Thanks for the info.

Good stuff

It is very quiet. The gemtech barrel/suppresor part is real nice and very accurate, but I have been having problems with the 10/22 action and mags (always the weak link)

I have done a bunch of mods to get it to work with sub sonic ammo. I have found that match ammo will stay subsonic. I am still trying different ammo to see which it likes best. This little gun might be my favorite. It always goes to the range and everyone loves to shoot it. I will buy a couple more for my kids when I move to ID this summer.

Bottom line Im very pleased with the supresor not so much with the 10/22 action(but thats nearly fixed).

Talk to me about your action modifications.  Gemtech has done well by me in the past so I like hearing this one is quiet.

I will also be using match ammo. Eley and Federal.

This is all you need to know

I ramped/polished the bolt, polished the hammer and the guide rod. I also stripped the inside of the upper, that fucking cheap ass paint was flaking off creating a mess. I will eventually send it out to be anodized once its perfect.

Ramping the bolt was huge, it made a ton of difference. Polishing the guide rod with 800 grit paper helped a lot also. I also only use a dry teflon lube now- it keeps the crud down.

Overall a few simple steps will help the 10/22 tremendously.
