[ARCHIVED THREAD] - length of AAC 762SD QD mount

I want to use my 762SD that is coming in on a Thompson Center G2 barrel in 300 whisper that is 15" long, will the mount added to the barrel if pinned and welded make overall length 16" so I can use with rifle.
