| So how are the TROS suppressors? I saw a Ti .22 can (MD-22T) that would work on my 77/22 .22 mag as well as my starndard .22s. I haven't seen any info on the TROS cans though. Quality/performance? Any experiences? |

His workmanship is top notch, and he is a great guy. Basically a one-man shop... very skilled machinist with supurb customer service. I own one of his 9mm full auto rated cans, and it works well. Honestly, there are ones out there that are a little more quiet, but I'm satisfied. I'm sure his .22 cans are on par with just about anyone's as far as being quiet. The .22 is the easiest cartridge to suppress. |
I'm not arguing the first part, my TROS 9mm can is well built with excellent craftsmanship, but the level of customer service given to both myself and another buddy of mine that purchased two cans from them was nothing short of horrendous. Lie after lie of "it'll be ready next week" gets old after awhile. Email me PM me if you want anymore of the details, but suffice it to say that I'll never do business with TROS again based upon their customer service (or lack thereof). |
I had a custom M10 barrel made up, and yes, it was not done when quoted. However, i never had any problems contacting mark or getting updates. However, he does not insure any packages, or get tracking numbers. He sent my barrel out a few weeks ago, and i never received it. I asked him if he had tracking info, and he said he's never had a package damaged or lost....mine was the first. Now, being the holidays, i know mail is slow. He offered a refund, and i told him to sit tight till after the holidays. Was this a bad idea? |
I understand 100%. That's the problem with selling good products; everyone wants them. I'll sit tight as long as i can. |
