Hey guys.  I just bought an AAC Evolution 9 and was hoping to not only use it on a P226, but my girlfriend's Bersa Thunder .380.  Is there any chance in hell of findin a threaded barrel for this weapon?  Thanks

You know,  Iasked this question a couple of years ago, and I think there was a manufacturer of threaded barrels out there.

you checked the bersa website?

Is the Bersa a Makarov-type pistol...

FAC (now bankrupt) did at one time make threaded .380 Mak bbls...

I believe someone is up under their old website selling 'surplus' FAC inventory, possibly including barrels....

Thanks for the suggestions.  I have checked their site and found nothing about threaded barrels.  As far is it being a Makarov type pistol I can't say because I have never shot a mak.  They definitely look similar.

Best bet is to have  Tros or a good smith thread your barrel and make an adapter

I have held a Bersa but never really examined it.  Do the barrels tip back in those or remain stationary?

They remain stationary like the Makarov.

You will also need to get the fixed barrel spacer to replace the booster spring to use it on a fixed barrel guns.  Probably need heavier recoil spring to keep the breech closed from letting out too much noise from increased blowback.
