I currently have a couple of LMT 14.5 inch uppers. That is not the problem. I initially was going to just have a phantom permanently installed on them. Here is the Problem. I got the 223 suppressor bug. I know that the m42000 has a phantom fh that you can use on the m42000. I don't want any buyers remorse so I need to ask the class if anyone knows of a similar system that can get my 14.5 inch uppers nice and legal like Uncle Sugar wants me to. But... if he is looking to get a supressor down the road, why not go with a flash hider that can double as a quick mount adapter for said supressor? He still will have a 14.5" barrel, but if will have a AOL of 16.1" with the mount perm. attached. I personally can't see any justification of spending $200 dollars for an SBR stamp when using a 14.5" barrel. 10" I could see, just not the 14.5". |

I have a SBR in the works. It is an LMT with one of their 10.5 or so inch uppers. I am gonna put a noveske krink as its daily FH. I like NFA stuff but with all the regs on it, I want some more transferable and transportable stuff as well. I will look at the gemtechs and YHM stuff as well. Speaking of YHM, does anyone have one of those with a mini re-cap of it. |
