Only one suppressed rifle so far.

Home built 9mm with an AWC "CQB" suppressor. OH so quiet with 147gr ammo

9mm on a BM lower.  Gemtech Raptor.
Some people shoot gongs while others prefer silhouettes. Personally, I think BLUE FALCONS make excellent target stands. Every platoon has one & they're not good for anything else.

It's been running like a champ for me. Nice and quiet with regular ammo. No FTF or FTEs to speak of. I did notice you have to use a certain one of the AAC flash hinders to fit. Here's the link to what I mean on a post I did on the FN Forums:

That's a great looking set up. Is the mount a cantilevered design? Doesn't make the stock barrel/suppresor combo look too long.

AR15 France, I have a question for you on your SIG551.  I have a SIG551 SWAT with the longer barrel and bayonet 'bump' in barrel.  I also have an ASE quick-detach suppressor for the A2 flash hider I currently use on my AR15.  I am seriously considering shortening the 551 barrel and threading for the A2 flash-hider so I can use the ASE suppressor.  I'll thread the original SIG flash hider to fit the 1/2'x28 threaded barrel.  My questions are these:  What is the exact length of 551 short barrel and from which datum point?  Could you post pics of the 551 without the suppressor?  When I'm done I'd like the gun to look exactly like a factory model with the original flash-hider screwed on, hence the questions.
