burney, Please give feedback on the AA 22 kit. I need one for a G19. How many rounds to break it in, or was it good out of the box? Ammo preferences would help too. I have a JAC kit for a 92f/s. I get 2 mags before it stops fully chambering rounds and requires cleaning. The extractor hangs ever so slightly on the barrel relief. The first trigger pull brings it fully into battery with a light primer hit. The second fires the round. Most edges have been chamfered / polished. The extractor requires removal and polishing. Ammo is not the issue as I've tried Rem sub & std and CCI std & minimag. I want a conversion kit with less tuning. Any feedback on your combination would be appreciated. Thanks, sk |

The AA kit wasn't part of the Sea Hunter package. You would be getting a HELLUVA deal if it was. I bought the Gemtech kit from a friend who never used it and a new lower from Glockmeister. The kit works 100% right out of the box. I have fired CCI Subsonic, CCI Mini-Mag, and CCI Standard Velocity through it with absolute reliability. The Mini-Mags produce a lot of blowback though, and I quit using them. I have fired maybe 200-300 rounds at a range session and have not experienced any problems with the operation of the kit. I was just really glad to be able to find the Gemtech kit and have a complete setup. |
Totally agree. I too have experienced no problems with my G19 AA kit setup. I use CCI minimags, Remington bulk pack, and Winchester Super-X with no problems. Suppressor is a Gemtech Outback. Having seen this pic, I now wish I had a Seahunter. |
I have an AA kit built like this for my G19. It works great with CCI mini-mags and CCI subsonics. More blowback with the mini-mags but such is life. You can have an AA kit set-up like this by Gemtech. I believe it was $130 or $140. They thread the barrel and put an adapter on the end. Great work, as usual from Gemtech. |
