I need suggestion's on which scope mount or ring's to try. I have Millett angle lock's on my AR now and am not terribly impressed. I want the setup to be as repeatable to zero as possible if I remove the scope. Have looked at Rock River, ASA, Leupold and Armalite mount's. What say ye all? Lee |
| The ARMS #5 MultiBase fits MilSpec and Weaver style. I got it for a FAL, it's also been on a few AR's and a Australian Arms rifle. Right now it's on a AR10-T. It's always had Burris Z Rings on it. It does look cluttered but has worked well when jumping from different types of rifle designs and 40mm to 56mm scopes. If I was setting up an A3 I would use the Armalite mt. |
| If you have a flat top, go with Armalite, or model one sales (M&A). I have not had to touch the turrets on my varmit AR in over 2 years, and have had the scope off and on every time I pack the rifle in its case (over 20 or more times). Armalite is pricey at $89.00, model one sales is $55 and does just as good. I can send a pic if you are curious. |
