Anyone know where I can find Ghost Ring Sights for my 870.  I have heard of MMC sight and seen them on special purpose guns but I cannot seem to find a place that sells them.
Also can they be installed by the do it yourselfer?

Not a good project for the do-it-yourselfer. The receiver has to be drilled and tapped and the front sight has to be silver soldered and re-blued. Some get away with epoxying the front sight but I dont' think that's as secure as silver soldering.

Vang Comp charges $275 for the MMC sights installed. They're not cheap but they're highly regarded.

Only thing I don't like about the Wilson Combat trac-lock ghost rings is the rear sight doesn't have the protective wings and look like it's susceptible to damage if it's inadvertently bumped.
