| That's one of those mauser scout rifle kits from the company that makes plastic stocks and barrel extensions for shotguns (can't think of the name, performance something I think). I've seen those advertised, they look kind of interesting. If the stock assmebly is of good quality and it is comfortable to shoot that'd be a heck of nice (and relatively inexpensive) rifle. |

Well, this one started life as a Yugo M-48 that saw use in the Bosnian war and then was customized with a home made cut down stock. It was a terrible thing to see. The stock was bought from CDNN for $80.00 and is made by Advanced Technology. Fit was great and all holes lined up, all parts fit and there were no gottchas that jumped up. Since the original M-48 with great mechanics cost about $60.00 it ended up a fairly inexpensive big bore rifle. |
