If you have a dr 300 with a broken bolt, can you turn it into a dr 200 by swapping the upper?  I know price wise it doesnt make sense, but are the 223 and 762x39 lower receivers the same on daewoos?

AFAIK the lowers are the same, other than markings.

try to find a machinist to modify a 7.62x39 AR bolt for the daewoo.  i don't recall if they are dimensionally close enough.

i had an ar15 bolt modded with rounded lugs to fit proprietary barrel extension of the early professional ordnance so it's doable.

Its really more of a CA gun law issue too.  I can buy a broken bolt dr 300 before the deadline for new gun laws here.  Once i have it, can i put a dr 200 upper on it and actually have a functional dr 200?  The gun comes with a dr 200 bolt that could be machined to work.  Im just not too interested in a 7.62x39 daewoo.  Would really rather have a dr 200.

I've never seen a 300 in person, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Magwell is the same, and I can't imagine they changed the fcg for 7.62x39, and the recoil assembly is in the upper. I know you can use a K1A1 lower with a K2 upper. Do it if you can find a 200 upper.
