Help me identify some 7.62x54R please.  I think it's Bulgarian.

7.62x54R, non magnetic brass case, black primer seal, head stamp looks like a standing lion at 12 O'clock  number 47 at 3 O'clock, B0 with a vertical line through the 0 at 6 O'clock and number 19 at 9 O'clock.
Magnets stick to what we assume is a copper washed steel jacketed bullet. The ammo is paper wrapped in bundles in a tin box with tab and pull strip opening.  What's throwing me off is the red lacquered tips. No one I have spoken too has seen red lacquer tips on Bulgy 7.62R and it isn't shown in the ID guides online.

What is it and what's it's value ? A co worker wants to trade me an equal dollar value amount of match ammo for it if we can find an average.

Thank you in advance.

According to 7.62 x 54.net a red tip in 54r is incendiary round.

I have seen that headstamp on Bulgarian 8x56r, albeit not with a red tip projectile.

I'm going with this. I've never heard of a Lion on any 54r ammo.

I found this on 7.62x54r.net

Change the red primer sealant to black and the 48 to 47 and we would have an exact match. The ID guide confirms the Lion as Bulgarian but no picture or mention of the red tip.

Did a bit more digging and according to John Munnery's book (Bulgarian Military Cartridge Review 1876 to Present), 1947 was the first year
of 7.62x54R production in that country. No red-tipped rounds are
mentioned at all.

the mystery continues....
