I'm thinking the year is around 2000 or a little after. Not sure.

I have a Winchester Carbine Model 94, with a serial number 6,209,xxx.  I can't find any specific info on the date.  It's the lower rifle in the image below.

Odd that no one would know.  Well, maybe not so odd, if records weren't kept.  But I can't find any records beyond 1990s.

The only thing the Blue Book of Gun Values says is that cross bolt safety was manufactured from 1992 - 2006.

Nothing I can find regarding serial numbers.

EDIT:  Unless a rare variation, configuration and or caliber is involved.

Yeah that's kind of what I found. It's a great shooter, which is why I bought it.  Wanted a .45 Colt to go with my Single Action.  Love those levers.
