I have been using Ballistol to clean and lube my guns but would like a longer lasting oil on certain areas.
Is it ok to mix different products?

Typically, yes.

It's best to use grease on larger, sliding surfaces- bolt/bolt carrier, receiver rails. Oils are best used on more intricate/harder-to-access points- hammer and trigger axis pins, etc...

Here's a good primer on lubricants specific to firearms:Lubrication 101

I use Magnalube grease on everything. It's cheap ($14 per pint) and performs well.

I use Ballistol on all my rifles that shoot corrosive ammo, everything else gets Breakfree CLP and TW25 where grease is needed.
But are you talking about using both products in the same rifle at the same time. or just what might happen when you switch over? I didn't notice any strange reactions when I changed some of mine from CLP to Ballistol. Ballistol is water soluable so it would be easy to flush your weapon with hot water to get any traces out before switching if that's what has you concerned.

If we're talking about using both Ballistol and CLP at the same time in the same weapon I don't see the point.

I use Shooter's Choice or sometimes Sweet's 762 on my bores and use Hoppe's #7 on the action and exterior for cleaning.
Then I lube with grease and/or CLP

No problems
