What would be better with a rear do-optic sight, the regular front or HK style?  Never really had a need for iron sights but want to put a set on my SBR and practice with them.  Thanks in advance for any help.

I've got a Troy DOA rear flip up one one of my ARs with a KNS crosshair front sight, I like that setup as it's easy for my eyes to just line up the crosshairs with the marks on the DOA. I don't have an HK style front sight on any of my ARs but do own several HK clones, seems a standard rear peep works well with the round HK front shroud. But I like the rear DOA so much I'd still probably choose that if I already had an HK front.

Edit: Just for anyone who doesn't know, the 0-100yd rear DOA is a full diamond with lines at each corner, the long distance rear is just a black diamond that's partially opened at the top, no lines or marks. I don't shoot opens past 100 yards so I've never had any use for it but IMHO not as effective for me vs the full marked diamond aperture.

They both provide excellent sight pictures. I prefer the HK type but that's just personal preference. I actually have both.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up ordering the Di-optic rear and the standard m4 front.
