Anyone had any problems with SanTan billet uppers? I helped a friend assemble an AR today and had several problems. First the buffer retainer pin absolutely would not fit inside the hole in the upper. I ended up drimmeling the pin around it to get it to fit (spikes parts kit). Then putting in the Seekins barrel it was extremely hard to get in Took 15+ min and had to finish it off by using the nut to pull it the width of the barrel pin. I have a Geissele reaction rod and was very hard to fit in the upper down to the barrel. Then when we put in the bolt it was quite tight. It's a 300 blk and i told him to expect feeding issues because the bolt was so tight. Told him to sit for 30+ min and just pull the bolt back over an over to try to work it. I don't expect that is normal but any one had that prob?
