Does anyone know the going rate for a good condition Eo-tech 554? I have a trade offer involving one but haven't seen one sell recently to get an idea of value.

Hadn't heard of a 554. Quick googles show it may have been a military only version of the 552. Add that to the stories of EOTechs determined to be originally issued to .mil that were sent in for service were not returned (assumed stolen or improperly surplussed), I would avoid it. This is, of course, assuming the internet is correct on both accounts.

They are welcome to. No one else with eotech .mil optics has had a knock. They just get taken if you send them to eotech. And it doesn't matter they backed out.

There was a guy in my HTF who bought night vision for his AR off ebay and had the .mill knock on his door asking for it back. Apparently a soldier thought it was a good idea to take it back with him from over seas and sell it. Just a heads up
