I have been reading reviews for the SCAR 17 and wanted to know opinions from AR15 SCAR owners or folks who researched the SCAR 17 and the reasons they purchased or did not purchase. I am in the evaluation process and I am looking for some guidance. Thanks very much!

I started researching about SCAR 17Ss when searching for the best .308 "battle" rifle.. When doing so, the SCAR was always mentioned or at the top of the list.. After watching every video and review on it, I had to try it out.. My friend had a SCAR 16S with a suppressor and it sold me on the platform.. It wasn't an impulse buy on my part.. I researched it as much as possible and it was the best decision I have made in terms of firearms.. My ARs don't really see the light of day anymore..
ETA: there are a couple threads on here about the pros/cons on the SCAR platform and why people chose to buy/not buy that can go more into detail and the finer points.. |
