I recently picked one up too, and I must say it's a neat little rifle.   The ability to use AR mags is what spurred me to go ahead and get one.

Did that bolt handle come on that MVP? Mine is different, it is smaller and I have big hands and it is hard to get a hold of.

That looks like a complely different Bolt, my handle/knob is smaller & the Bolt is spiral cut

308 isn't out yet.

Check AJI in Apache Junction.  Jeff had one (5.56) last time I was in. (can't recall which configuration)

the bolt is spiral fluted, it's just hard to tell with the paint. the bolt handle is a brownell's tactical knob that I installed on the stock bolt handle.  the factory one a little small for my liking too. the large knob is way more comfortable for me .

Nifty!  A 5.56 AR magazine bolt action would be top-notch.

Friend has one.  He's a little unhappy.  Shoots well and all, but he says there enought mag wobble to get the occasional misfeed.  He says the bullet tip doesn't make it up the feed ramp.  We tried several difference metal and polymer mags and the all had noticeable movement back and forth.  I couldn't get it misfeed in a short test, but he swears it does.

One of the local dealers has two of these for $566 if I recall correctly.  I was interested in getting one, but after fondling them I will pass.  When you pull the bolt back, it wobbles something fierce.  At first, I thought the first one I grabbed was missing a bushing, or the receiver was oversized, and I was afraid the bolt was going to fall out of the rifle.  I checked the second one and it is the same way.  I have never seen a bolt wobble that way and it was completely unexpected.

I am willing to bet that is what causes the misfeeds, not the magazine.

Ones out. Go over to the mvp board. Guy on there is offering  300 bbls and someone else has a bbl change kit.
http://www.mossbergmvp.com/index.php?forum/

These are a few pics prior to putting the MTAC on something with a smaller bbl and dropping a Bushnell 6500, 4.5 - 30 X 50. on it.
20" i threaded the bbl , installed an AAC f.hider, running an M4-2K noise reducer.
I took some infr off the reloading forum for sub-sonic 223 loads and road tested a few 2 weeks ago. Nothing on paper, however they were definitely super quiet cream puffs, probably good out to 1-150. Hoping to put some on paper this week [ weather permitting] to see POI difference from some 55gr standard loads.
