Friend of mine found this in his basement, I presume it's for a bolt action but not sure. I did some searching around but came up short, the only markings on it is what you see.....any idea's folks? Thanks

Concur for a Remington late series Auto or Pump in using the .308 cartridge (could also be used for a .243 Win/.260 Rem/7-08mm/.338 Fed or .358 Win).

that little lever on the side is the bolt release for the semi-auto. the pump doesn't have/ need it.
