looking for something I can shoot inside and practice draws ect.
Is the KWA g19 any good ? anyone have one ? is it the same size, weight, feel ? use the same holsters ? |

Go to Next Level Training and check out their SIRT pistol. It is the best investment in firearms I have made. It works with any g17 holster and has all the same attributes as the g17 (size, weight, center of gravity, etc.). The difference is that it emits a laser at your POI. The trigger pack is adjustable for a lot of things (mine is 6 way adjustable) and you can set it up for your guns trigger pull. It also has an adjustable weight magazine. I use it every day and it has improved my shooting significantly. I regularly use the trigger reset regardless of how fast I am firing from all my training with the SIRT. My accuracy, speed, and presentation have all been improved noticeably. Noticeable to the point that the instructor for my classes has said things on numerous occasions.
The only downsides are that it does not reciprocate the slide, and you can't practice recoil management. However, it will pay itself off ten times over with the improvement you will see. |

weight is slightly less, but everything else is the same. it feels like a glock with a 22lr conversion on it. i like mine because i can practice in the basement and everything works just like my real one. slide recoils and locks back, etc.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Im leaning more toward the airsoft gun just do to the same controls and the slide actually throws you sights off I dry fire alot which covers my trigger work. As for that particular airsoft gun, is it powered of that green gas stuff of propane ? I keep reading that some people use one or the other and then someone comes along as claims propane is bad for airsoft guns ect. so im kinda confused. It would be great to have it run of propane so i can pick it up locally but I guess i could order the other stuff. or are there any local places that stock the green gas stuff ? |

you can buy cans of gas for airsoft locally from big box stores. you don't want to use propane because it doesn't have the needed lubricants for inside of the airsoft gun. you can add those yourself, but it still may cause damage. all of the parts are available for full rebuilds if you do damage something with propane or other. I have a KSC G19 and the trigger resets just like my real one. the trigger does feel a little more toy like than the glock, but is still pretty close. i haven't tried, but it looks like some glock trigger parts may work for upgrading. YMMV

I have this one
runs on CO2 - the trigger isn't the same as a glock though |
