Interested in buying a chronograph. As with most purchases I want to strike the balance between a quality item without spending a whole lot. It probably won't see a ton of use. I just want it for occasional load development and ballistics calculations. Any recommendations? Thanks

Chrony  they rock.  Pick the model you like.  It will last you a life time.

This magnetic chronograph is worth a look. It's easy to set up, you're less likely to damage it by shooting the thing.  It may change your point of impact ever so slightly which isn't a big deal.

Chrony Alpha or Beta.  If you plan to use it at a public range then get the "Master" version since it has a remote readout.
