Trigger pull on this .22 Magnum has to be at least 20lbs. The worst I ever fired LOL!!

I had one in 38 special.  Trigger was not that bad. I bet you have a burr on the sear.   Get some 1200 wet dry sandpaper and flitz and fix it.

About 20 years ago I had one in .38.  Trigger pull was about 100 lbs.  When you did get it to go off, it felt like someone hit your hand with an aluminum baseball bat.

I got drunk and shot my TV with it.  Ended up trading it even steven for a bolt action .410.

A .38 Davis was the first gun I ever resold and for a loss too. Useless with that pull.

I've lifted 25lbs with the tip of the trigger of my D-22. Here is me shooting it at an 8 x 12" steel target.

Derringer 30 Yards

I use it a lot.

Especially considering that it's single action.  Nagant revolvers have horrible trigger pulls (as others have said, shooting counter-revolutionary prisoners in the back of the head doesn't require a match grade trigger...) but that's in double action.  The single action pull is more or less tolerable.
