But when i flip it over its got 20 different warning labels stamped on it Like.
Warning laser beam
May fire with magazine removed
Ect ect
Its ruining the look of the guns they look like toys with all the warnings
Seriously i think if your looking down a gun barrel the last thng you should be thinking is the light gonna hurt my eye
How far do you think they will go with this crap.

The stupid get stupider, and the attorneys get richer.

That's it, Bro.

In a nutshell.

I like the laser warning that says "do not shine in eyes",  if it is the GUN is pointed at your face, the laser is the least of your potential problems.

I hate the "read the manual" crap they put on the barrel.

That's always been one of my complaints with Smith and Wesson, they have to be some of the worst at this.

They have the lazer sticker if it has crimson trace on it
It's got "capable of firing with magazine removed"
Read owner's manual before use! Really? You had to stamp that in my damn gun?

I know, I know it's just a tool right but damn it, it's hard to own a thing of beauty when it's got useless warning lables all over it. Stupid lawyers and lawsuits.

This...

It's not just relegated to guns bro.  At the rafting company I used to work at we used to call Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) life jackets or life preservers....until a family sued a company because their loved one drowned while wearing one.  Overnight we had to change from life jacket/preservers to PFD's just as a CY6 thing.  All of our liability waivers had to be changed as well (even though they don't do a damn lick of good in court)

People look to sue over anything and everything now-adays.  The American way used to be work hard and earn a good living, it's now become try to sue the shit out of someone and live off a big court settlement.

Ruger, in the past, on some of their products has had basically a paragraph on their revolvers.
Maybe they should just put one of those small barcode-like squares on the gun, (whatever they call them), like they put in ads in magazines.  People with electronic devices could get a digital operator's manual or other info. anytime they wanted.
