I can shed a little light on the M3T. There is another member on here who posts in the Shotgun section who knows more about this shotgun then I do.
First off, HK marked means it was made pre-1997. That was when HK stopped importing Benelli's, and I think that is when Beretta bought Benelli, and Benelli started importing under their own name. The fact that it is an HK marked will raise the price slightly over a non-HK marked Benelli. I don't think they have run the M3T's post '97, so I'm not sure if there are any non-HK marked M3T's on the market. I know there are regular M3's that are non-HK marked, but I dont know about M3T's. The spring set-up on your gun is very different then a typical Benelli. In a typical Benelli, the recoil spring foes in a tube that slide into the stock of the gun. Since you do not have a fixed stock, this cannot work for obvious reasons. IIRC, the recoil spring is around the mag tube, and inside of the fore-arm. I have no idea how it works since I have never seen one apart and in person. It also looks like you have the factory 7-shot mag tube, which is very desirable. The threads on an M3 are different then any other Benelli, so people who have the shorter mag tubes are S.O.L. when it comes to extensions, unless they find a factory one (which are not too common). That feature alone will add money to it. All in all, I would say the gun will proabably fetch 1,500-2,000 from the right buyer. These things do not pop up often, and I'm sure you could get more if you wanted to wait out for the one person. |
