I'm looking for a Flashlight / Laser Combo with a remote switch for a rail.
I found the Dark Ops HellFighter UnderBoss. It sounds ok and sounds like what I'm looking for. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=881526 Are there any other Flashlight / Laser combos out there that anyone would recommend? I have found that a flashlight is no good durning daylight and you need more than a laser at night, hence the combo! |

I'd go streamlight, they sell the optional remote pad switch which I'm sure most makers do The streamlight is the model TLR-2 that has the light and lazer combo. You could also go the Surefire route, but they are a little pricey. The model you would want is the X400 light and lazer. |

I wouldn't expect much for $65, but I guess it's worth a try. As said above SureFire made one, I don't think it's still made though. One sold on ebay last year for big $, can't remember exact price, maybe $800 or so. Here's one. ![]() I found this one at a gunshow a few years ago. It's not a Surefire, it's made by G&P Laser Products. I found a place that sold them for around $200 or so but can't locate that link right now. The dealer is a military surplus guy that buys on bases. I know him from years of buying from him. He claimed he bought three at a base in Texas. I doubt the military bought these, but they were there. I don't know what to think. Two were beat up and had sand in them, the one I bought for $100 was in nice shape. Here's a link to Google search results for it. Yes I bought something made in china! Airsoft? http://www.google.com/search?q=g%26p+scorpion&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a#hl=en&expIds=17259,25907,27642,27744,27753,27797,27868&sugexp=leprodeca4&xhr=t&q=G%26P+Scorpion+Series+Aiming+Green+Laser+with+Flashlight&cp=54&qe=RyZQIFNjb3JwaW9uIFNlcmllcyBBaW1pbmcgR3JlZW4gTGFzZXIgd2l0aCBGbGFzaGxpZ2h0&qesig=m6jaDzf2K5Ju5oPCmNxuNg&pkc=AFgZ2tmYWB9yyasFmZrE6kKNk0b3Ec7Ak1Wybeg1-wli3gSOVlXLoZ9m6CS3-t-it1Ox-VjkSSP0JGGlYVou2YlOI15qQNLA8g&pf=p&sclient=psy&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=GeC&rls=org.mozilla:en-US%3Aofficial&source=hp&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=ee9cf29d13ee360 Wow...that's a long link! But I will say it's built like a tank, heavy, bright and works well. Actually it's a bit too heavy, all metal and three batteries. I mounted it and played around with it, took some pics and now it's on the shelf. It's just not for me. If I had given it some thought at the show I wouldn't have bought it, it was a impulse buy I guess. I can't run anything airsoft on my AR's...just can't. And I didn't know what it was when I bought it. Here's a some pics to give you an idea of what it is. I liked it better mounted on the right side of the rail, but I don't have pics of that. It uses a duel pressure switch, rear for the light, front for the laser. The light uses a G90 120 Lumans lamp and the green laser is a 10mw. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Garage door is about 90 yards away, daylight on white, not bad. ![]() Tree is about 130 yards. ![]() |

I agree that i dont like to run airsoft stuff on my guns either. I do like how it is offset and "hugs" the barrel more. I hate things that hang off and look odd. That actually looks pretty good. Now if only we could get an american company to make one designed for real firearms.... |
