Word is Colt doesn't want to show the CM901 in prime time just yet, because they're still playing around with it and design may not be final.

Colt knows what's up though and that the M4's days are numbered.

Future is coming. Embrace it. Hold it tight. It's going to be good times.

No wonder Magpul hasnt been able to put out the Midlength and Rifle Length MOE handguards. Between making parts for other rifles and gearing up for mass 308 mag production, theyre not going to have the manpower. Is Magpul on the DOW? I need to buy some stock.

They're making A LOT of money that's for sure and they don't even produce actual firearms themselves.

Combination of high value products and slick marketing for total win.

If it's anything like the patent picture then it is another epic fail.

Who was that company that came out with modular AR lowers a few years back? Did Colt buy the patent rights?

Also, it's interesting to see the shifting focus to 7.62 as the action is now primarily in AFG.

Looks like the upper receiver locks into those tabs on the upper surface of the mag well––less slop?

Ambi bolt release.

Integrated sling loops at the rear.

I know Cobb had something similar.

MGI is the company you're thinking of & I have no idea about the patents involved.
