Saw a thread on lightfighter....but you have to be a member to see it.......its basically a new Colt rifle you will be able to shoot 308/556 from

Word is Colt doesn't want to show the CM901 in prime time just yet, because they're still playing around with it and design may not be final. Colt knows what's up though and that the M4's days are numbered. Future is coming. Embrace it. Hold it tight. It's going to be good times. |

Who was that company that came out with modular AR lowers a few years back? Did Colt buy the patent rights?
Also, it's interesting to see the shifting focus to 7.62 as the action is now primarily in AFG. Looks like the upper receiver locks into those tabs on the upper surface of the mag well––less slop? Ambi bolt release. Integrated sling loops at the rear. |
