A bit of good news is that FN has shipped some black 17s out yesterday and should see more coming throughout the month. Great news as I have been waiting for one of these. I just hope the dealers don't gouge us for the .308....yeah right!

Good news indeed.

Does anyone know when the FDE models will be out?

I'm also interested in seeing what the price on Gunbroker will be.  Hopefully not as bad as when the 16s came out.

Mine too... Well not next, next. Maybe first rifle for 2012 after they worked all the bugs out. I may or may not need the l33t stuff in '12.

I'm talking street price, no way that you're going to see a .308 SCAR for anywhere under $2500

I don't know how many they did ship so the first set might not even make it to GB. At least they are shipping now they said...

Do a little homework not all dealers gouge. Hell I picked up a new black Scar16s for $2200, that what blems were going for.

Rule 1 for any gun purchase is wait on a new release gun for the price to level out. If they ever un-cluster fuck the ACR I'll wait and pick one up at a reasonable price. Not all of us are fan boys that gotta show off and be the first one on the block with the new whiz-bang toy.

Be patient folks the prices for the SCAR and ACR will level out in a few months. Anyone wants to know where to get a Black SCAR 16 new for $2200 from a reliable dealer with excellent customer service and fast shipping I'll IM you the info.

What do you consider gouging? $170 profit on a $2300 investment isn't gouging, it's barely scraping by.

No kidding. When their .223 is more then the ACR, why would their .308 be less then the ACR?
