I drank the Kool Aid and picked up a basic ACR for $1979. I was wondering what sling mounts people are running? Was told to get QD sling mounts but I can't find them locally. Thanks for any help....Trapfan.

I handled one at the local fun store today.  I have to say I liked it lots more than I expected to and was amazed by both its light weight and the smoothness of the charging handle.  I also really enjoyed the feel of the MOE handgurds and have ordered a set for one of my AR's.  The gun shouldered and pointed very comfortably.  I'm not a fan of the MBUS sights that were on it, but that's an easy fix.

When they first came out I had dismissed them for doing nothing my AR's (one Bushmaster, one RRA lower/LMT upper Frankengun)  couldn't do for double the money.  I still probably won't be able to afford one for quite some time unless I can find a smoking deal on a used one.  The modularity of the AR and the ability to build it as I can afford parts is another draw for the older platform,  but if I get the chance to pick up an ACR, I'd be willing to give it a shot.
