picked up a new (first) harley dyna super glide the other day. i hate leaving the house without a pistol and when i ride, im forced to. I have plenty of inside the pants holsters that i use whenever i leave the house but they have no retention. obviously i need something that is going to stay put and keep the gun very secure. Is there anything that can do this? i would prefer inside the pants if that is possible.

| Well since no one else is jumping in I'll give it a shot. Do you feel you have a real need for a retention device? Most iwbs I've seen/used have enough retention to hang upside down with or run around doing lots of unusual things I don't think it would be very necessary. |

I pretty much agree with thesystem. I have ridden my ATV for hundreds hours with a Glock in a kydex Sidearmor holster, and never had any problems.
But, to answer your question, you can get the IWB MacDaniel Holster II from andrewsleather.com with an optional thumbreak. Don Hume and Galco also make IWB holsers with a retention strap. |
