[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lockable ammo case?

Im getting a AR15 and I want to lock my ammo up when Im not using it. Any suggestions?

Just buy used 50cal ammo cans milsurp, and they sell small lock sets that go on em to allow em to accommodate a padlock. Easy and cheap. Or Ive seen a few posts where people use big job boxes to store their ammo in. Sell em at home depot and such.

I wont have much ammo at any pint in time, probably only 1000 so i dont need anything huge.

Ill look into a .50 case.
