I'm not sure why it being a piston rifle would matter. You can't hang a charging handle off the piston and use it to move the BCG.

ok i have seen that before i just forgot about it. This is what i was thinking. throw a side folding stock, a bad lever, and a ambi safty on it and you have the poor mans ACR.
