Just brain storming on what rifles that are currently being made that can be used for self defense.
I look at a Defensive Rifle as a semi-automatic rifle with removable box magazines that have a capacity of 15rds or more. Right now off the top of my head I think that there is a pretty good selection of rifles that would easily do the job as a defensive rifle and this list is simply currently new in the box stuff.... I know that there are a ton of good older designs. Bolt Actions, M1 Garands, SKS Carbines, Lever Actions, Pistol Caliber Carbines etc..... |

SIG SAUER 556 .....is pure Fing junk. This. I damn near bought one until I actually shot and inspected one. Bought an XCR instead and love it. I also have the MSAR E4, an AR with an 18" LaRue Stealth upper, and M1A, and eventually I'll get either a SCAR-H or HK MR762. |
