I have a custom made bolt action in 6mm Rem, and would like to know what its design origins are. I inherited the rifle from my dad, and I know it has been re-barreled and thus re-chambered from some other round. If need be I can take pics, but it would be easier if someone knows a web page that shows the different bolt action designs in comparison (Enfield vs Mauser for example).
ETA: Nevermind, I found it - it's a Mauser 98. My bolt action experience has been limited to Remington 700's and Springfield 1903's.. |
