God damn I can't stop buying guns! Laid away a RRA LAR-8 AR10 on 10/29

Found a damn steal on a glock 26 and laid it away November 19th

Now today I laid away a FN Herstal PS90. Asked him to price match buds gun shop, and he did his best and has been real good to me so I put it away also.

After I pay these off I'm looking for a mp5... yes thats a hint to holler at me ;)

Will post pictures when I pick them all up in January.

There are no cures, only different strains of the same disease.

You mean like a real full-auto $18,000 to $20,000 MP5? Cool!

Everytime I think I'm done buying, i find myself wanting something else.
And if i'm not buying guns, I'm buying ammo

No shit, ain't that the truth!

And it ain't just the guns. Then you have to buy the accessories and add-ons like magazines, optics, mounts, slings, etc. and don't even get me started on ammo!

NFA is the only cure to BRD, and that is much worse.

i say go for it!

DO NOT GO NFA!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO NFA!!! (unless you have copius amounts of money, are single, or are okay with no sex and sleeping on the couch with Palmela Handerson for the remainder of your marriage)

Friend of mine is a trust fund baby so despite getting "only" something like $80k a year from it, plus some other money to help with a house and what not, his credit is like perfect because he will always have a source of income. He bought a BMW M5 and BMW approved and gave him a credit card with around a $50-60k limit. Well, he had a suppressor but wound up about the same time going to a full auto shoot with his dad (who was a SWAT instructor back in the early days) to check out some stuff and meet with some of the older guys his dad had trained. While he was there he caught the bug. BAD. Needless to say that BMW credit card lasted about as long as oh, I dunno, a Hostess truck broken down in the middle of an Ethiopian village. He is however, the proud owner of a select fire lower for an AR15, as well as about a half dozen suppressors and hosts as well as modifying many of his older guns to run the cans. No, he didn't do all of that with the one card, but that just helps give a point of refference. His latest purchases have been a SBS remington 870, an Armalite 50cal with can on the way, and a MAC in 9mm, not sure what model that is off the top of my head. He is trying to work out a deal for an AK74su Krinkov FA that he found, I may be wrong on that last part, but I believe that is what he said.

Send ALL your firearms to me.  When you buy another, don't even shoot it, send it to me.  That way you'll be reminded of the pain purchasing those arms, and never want to go through it ever again.  Sickness cured!!

As if I diden't have enough, I bought a ruger p345. $460 out the door, how coud I pass that up, considering its cheaper, even cheaper than buds..

I also found out that my credit card doesen thave interest for 6 months since I'm a new customer, so what the hell, I'm going to go pay my glock off. lol.

Don't overdo it.....having that many things on "layaway" seems a little dangerous.  I work part-time in a gunshop, and I have seen people literally take it way too far.

I'm from the old school thought of "save up the money, go pay cash" but to each his own .  I can't wait to see the pics when you get them all picked up

I swear I was only going to buy an AR15 upper for Christmas, but I saw a like NIB Glock 17 with some neat extras for $375, and I couldn't pass it up. Now I'm having to blow even money for the 9mm ammo to shoot it.

NFA is the only cure to stop buying Title I guns.  But hot damn... they're ADDICTIVE!!

The only cure is running out of money

Three things to think about:

1. If you think shooting is expensive, it's because you've never owned a sailboat.

2. I don't care how poor you are, you have more money than time on this planet.

3. Where the hell else are you gonna put your money?

Hope that helped.

Picked up my ruger and glock 26 today. Girlfriend was gracious enough to purchase the ruger for me, since she knew how much I want to shoot the damn thing. Sorry no pictures for a bit, because I don' thave a camera. I'll post pics later though.

Good thread - just know, you are not alone...we're all in the same boat. But, you know what - you only live once so enjoy it! Because, life is too short and you can take your $$ with you to the grave anyway.
