in 30-06, anybody own one? Academy Sports has em for $349 right now with a cheap scope attached. This is the all black model. What are your reviews?

It is what it is. I'm not a fan of them and feel like they are very cheaply made and from the ones I have sold to people in the shop I work at that wanted them and from what I have read they are not very accurate.

Some better options for not much more money, IMHO, would be: A Howa 1500 w/ Hogue stock, Weatherby Vanguard, used Savage with Accu-Trigger, or used Remington ADL Synthetic.

I see that they have Rem 700adl's for $439, is that a decent deal?

Yep, that is a decent deal....and I think Remington has a $40 rebate going on them right now.

If you get the ADL you can eventually use the action to rebarrel and build whatever you want in the future. This is what I would do, but it is your hard-earned money

They're OK. But another $100 will get you a much better rifle. $200 will get you a far superior rifle and a pretty good scope.

Would you mind listing them all for me with what you think they are worth? Also with if they should come with scopes or not?
