I read aroudn the net and realized that apparently a few of these were made and imported at some point (originals, not rebuilds).  Does anyone have one?  Got any pics?

A guy that posts in GD bought one that was LNIB last year from a pawn shop, it's a thing of beauty!

I happened across one in a rifle shop and picked it up for $2000.  Lightly used, but in pretty good condition.

Would you mind posting pics when you get a chance?  I would love to see some pictures of the internals, and your overall impression of the rifle.  Also, how is the trigger and what is the LOP?

Any source for folding stocks (yeah, I know, probably not!)

I know someone who has one, saw it for the first time a few months ago. Really liked it, very classy rifle.

I've always wanted one, and almost came close to buying one from GunList several years ago.

To me the Beretta AR-70 is a cool looking rifle, but from what I have read it is not very accurate.  Guns & Ammo did an article about the AR70/90 and SA80 a few months ago and the Beretta shot around a 2 to 3" group.

they were not exactly plentiful, but around alot in the 80's

had and sold about a dozen thru my Dad's shop,

neat rifles, probably should have bought one for myself,

but then again, I think the same about all the Valmets we sold,

and SIG AMT's,,,,,,

Theres one on Gunbroker right now for $2200

Good rifle for its day , but newer designs have outpaced it.

Almost all in hand are now safe queens

Mags cost $70 per plus

DSA has them for $60

ETA: Honestly, it's not that dated or expensive compared to the new stuff unless you have a hard on for rails.

the AR70 is great KISS rifle.
