Ok here is the technical question?
What is the best humidity range for a safe
I do not want too high for rust and corrosion issues
I do not want it too dry that will affect coatings and wood.

You'll get several different answers, but I've always heard around 40%.

This is the same I've always heard. My safe runs anywhere from the high 30's to mid 40's and I've never had a problem.

I have a Hygrometer in my safe and it'll go from 40 to about 55, depending on the season, with a golden rod in the safe.
