i have a freind who has one he wants to sell me in MINT condition,with a Leupold VariX II 3.5-10(maybe 12) x 40 AO Long Range scope and Leupold mounts for 800 bucks. iis it worth it? I think it is,he put 1100 bucks into it And i know it isnt shot out or abused in any kind of way.JUst looking for opinions

the rifle is definitely worth it, especially w/ glass included.
the comment on ammo cost is right on, too. but don't let that scare you. current going rate on cases of match grade ammo is about $110/ 100 rounds. if nothing else, the ammo is plentiful, though not cheap!
